During the Fall semester, students in the Biodiversity elective course at McQuaid Jesuit use Sir David Attenborough's "State of the Planet" as a prism for their study of biodiversity. At the conclusion of his work, Sir David outlines "Five Human Behaviors" that he feels are having a destructive effect of the Earth's biodiversity.
McQuaid's students are challenged to examine specific examples of these behaviors, and to propose some practical, small scale steps that might be taken to minimize these problems.
